Growth spurts remind us of what we already know intellectually but forget sometimes practically: our children won’t stay young forever. Let’s not forget to cherish the blessing they are, thanking God for them and choosing to enjoy them. And if we want them to enjoy learning, let’s make sure we’re enjoying teaching them too.
It’s too easy to let the challenges of parenting rob us of its joys, but they’ll be a day when they won’t be little any more.
